Caza will oversee a number of communications elements including public relations, advertising, social media and special events, and will report directly to Alberts. He'll also be responsible for development of marketing communications strategy and planning. A lifetime events consultant, Caza has executed events at major auto shows around the world, and has been an NAIAS contractor for several years. For NAIAS, Caza helped develop and implement "The Gallery," an exclusive showing of luxury and exotic vehicles at MGM Grand Detroit; "Auto Show in Motion," the main floor parade featuring super cars, celebrities, and Parade Company characters; and "Studio 25," a Charity Preview afterglow enabling crowds to celebrate Detroit and the auto industry well after the show floor closes.

"Bob has developed a number of creative ideas for the NAIAS, and is a professional in all aspects of event planning," said Alberts. "We have a very talented team of communications professionals – internally and externally – and the new position will ensure consistency and organization to our overall communications efforts, which are critical to the success of the show."

Alberts also announced that Rohatynski Public Relations has been retained to provide PR and media relations services to NAIAS. The Brighton-based company, which has been associated with NAIAS and the Detroit Auto Dealers Association since 1999, has been PR agency of record for NAIAS since 2012.
