Credentials by Mail
Journalists are encouraged to register online at naias.com and complete the form on the Media Access page. To receive credentials by mail, journalists must apply during the early registration period that ends Dec. 19, 2014. After Dec. 19, journalists may still register online, but will need to collect their credentials in person at Cobo Center after Jan. 2, 2015. The registration deadline for all media applications is Dec. 31, 2014; no applications will be accepted after this date.

Media credentials are required for entry to NAIAS 2015 and provided to qualified journalists only. To qualify, applicants must be working in print, broadcast or social-based/website media. All persons entering the show floor with credentials during Press Preview will be required to present additional identification (current driver's license or passport) for validation. NAIAS credentials are not transferable.

The Gallery
NAIAS media credentials will also provide access to a special media preview of The Gallery, an exclusive event featuring a magnificent display of luxury and performance vehicles at MGM Grand Detroit on Sunday, Jan. 11, from 9-11 a.m. Now in its eighth year, The Gallery will feature an estimated $5.5 million worth of exotic vehicles, many of which will not be shown at NAIAS due to their exclusivity.

Hospitality
NAIAS also encourages journalists to begin making travel plans now. The NAIAS offers helpful hospitality information online at naias.com to aid in travel to the Detroit area, which continues to open new hotels, and renovate classics. The site features information about booking hotel rooms, as well as links to Delta Air Lines, maps of downtown parking lots, shuttles to the show, international travel information and a complete list of local attractions.

Airfare Discounts Dec. 26, 2014 – Feb.13, 2015:
Premier Sponsor Delta Air Lines is offering 2-10% discounts on select coach and first class fares for domestic (US/Canada) originating passengers; and 3-10% discounts on select coach and business class fares for international originating passengers for travel to Detroit and NAIAS. Assistance in booking flights (Domestic Meeting ID code: NMJJ4; International Meeting ID code: NMJJ5) is available by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800.328.1111, or online at delta.com, and also through ALTOUR Travel, at 877.924.4053 if calling from US/Canada. If calling from anywhere else in the world, call 001.517.333.5878.

Epicenter of Innovation
NAIAS 2015 Chairman Scott LaRiche says once again Detroit will be the epicenter of automotive innovation and product introductions as the annual event is set to attract key players from the worldwide arena.

"We welcome manufacturers, media, suppliers, consumers, and all enthusiasts to see what Detroit – and the global automotive industry – have to offer in 2015," says LaRiche. "The international press knows this is a 'must-attend' event, and Detroit stands ready to roll out the red carpet for all visitors, especially the largest media audience anywhere in North America."
