Ford and United Space Alliance share knowledge, virtual reality expertise

More surprises from the world of high technology: Engineers at Ford's immersive Virtual Evaluation Lab (iVE) and United Space Alliance's (USA) imagery lab are working together, sharing their expertise in the use of virtual reality animation software. It turns out the software - also employed by animators and video game creators - has clear-cut uses that benefit both industries. Ford creates virtual vehicles with the software, improving real-life driving situations before a prototype is even built. Stylish new Ford Focus named 'Most Significant' vehicle at Detroit auto show

2011 Mustang GT - Official Pace Car of Daytona 500 - up for grabs
